Mobile integration is the major challenge for perfecting field efficiency. Playing on the currently popular Apps development lines might not be enough. Processed based dynamic support of the field force makes the difference to success. LogObject’s mobile strategy focus a process driven work logic and thus enhanced usability. Server based processing guarantees consistency and is supported by state of the art mobile front resolutions.
LogObject is focusing an open platform mobile strategy. A server based architecture allows using several mobile devices, from smartphone to laptop and tablet. The communication with the server occurs over http(s) with compression algorithms. Automatic software distribution mechanisms are also implemented. A caching mechanism allows for operation in (GSM) uncovered areas. This means the mobile terminal acts as a "slim client" and as such has no synchronization issues.
LobObject’s mobile client is fully available on iOS, Android, Windows. An optional browser based front end integrates other external forces and work environments.
